Hello everyone i am so excited to say that this Wednesday was my oldest sisters' birthday, yay! i am incredibly grateful to have, and have had, her in my life growing up. having her as an older sister meant that i always had someone responsible watching out for me, i absolutely hated it and always complained that she acted like my mother. it definitely took maturity and time for me to realize that she did this because she cared deeply about my well being and for that i am incredibly grateful we got to spend another full year together...oh yeah and did i mention she is also extremely hard working.
Anyways she wanted to spend her birthday in Sequoia National Park so we [my two sisters, her husband, the dog and i]packed ourselves into the the car and drove up to the mountains, had a little lunch up there, we went on some short trails before realizing that Vader wasn't allowed in any of them! so we ended up hanging out in a small meadow filled with tiny purple flowers i thought where just beautiful..(there are so many beautiful things in this world that the camera doesn't do it justice) it was a beautiful day that ended with a scoop of ice cream (my favorite!) While we where in San Francisco we also had to stop by Castro st/district. This community is known for being openly gay, it was an interesting experience for a girl from a small town in the middle on nowhere. Every one was so open about their sexuality and GUESS WHAT it wasn't even a big deal the earth kept rotating...the sky didn't fall apart.. the world would be such a peaceful place if we lived and let live.
